For a couple years now, a specific breed of hipsters cling to their keyboards in anticipation of Pitchfork's Album of the Year. They yearn to spout : "oh yes I heard them years ago, that first import EP. They're so trite at this point." with the same glee of an 'I told-you-so'.

So.... I'm curious to see what the Tumblr accounts will say about the most recent crown- in the collection of one Kanyesus West.



Perhaps, it's just what this economically bruised & wiki-war- torn world needs. We need a time of peace and consensus between Republicans & Democrats, Cookie Monster & Jeff Bridges, and Entertainment Weekly & Pitchfork.
